Gloucestershire-based book publisher Crumps Barn Studio hosted its first open-mic poetry event to coincide with the running of the Cirencester History Festival, which took place between 26th October and 3rd November. Cirencester Radio was there to record local poets reciting their poems.

    May I introduce myself. My name is Sheila Lloyd-Graham, and I am originally from Cirencester. I have had three Sporting Careers as a WRAC PTI, teaching in Scotland, London, Hampshire & Berlin. While working with the Americans in West Berlin, Germany, in the seventies and eighties, I used to travel into the British Sector to provide exercises over the Airwaves on British Forces Broadcasting Services, along with Baz Riley. On returning to the UK, I didn’t hesitate when asked to be interviewed on Corinium Radio – now Cirencester Radio.
