Charles Stevens
Charles Stevens has been interested in music since childhood. His interest in jazz began in his teens through Stephane Grappelli and Yehudi Menuhin, who his father and clarinettist John Maddocks influenced.
The great Pete Murray introduced him to broadcasting. This came together in his later years, and in 2016, Charlie’s Jazz Picks went on air for the first time. Charles hopes that you will enjoy his rather eclectic approach to jazz.

Introducing our hard-working volunteer radio presentersMay I introduce myself. My name is Sheila Lloyd-Graham, and I am originally from Cirencester. I have had three Sporting Careers as a WRAC PTI, teaching in Scotland, London, Hampshire & Berlin. While working with the Americans in West Berlin, Germany, in the seventies and eighties, I used to travel into the British Sector to provide exercises over the Airwaves on British Forces Broadcasting Services, along with Baz Riley. On returning to the UK, I didn’t hesitate when asked to be interviewed on Corinium Radio – now Cirencester Radio.
