Cirencester Radio and Cirencester Community Development Trust are delighted to launch the Cirencester Community Awards 2026, celebrating the charities, organisations, community groups and individuals who make an outstanding contribution to the life of our town.
The partnership is represented by Carole Boydell and Penny Carpenter of Cirencester Radio, alongside Anne Buffoni for CCDT. Together they introduce this year’s judging panel:
- Revd. Canon Graham Morris, Vicar of Cirencester Parish Church
- Derek Wetter, Cirencester Chamber of Commerce
- Hannah Hockley, The Apprenticeship Partner
- Jan Sparrow, CirenScene
- Becky Coles, Cirencester Town Council
The awards recognise the people and projects that strengthen Cirencester’s community spirit. Anyone involved in the not‑for‑profit sector is encouraged to take part, whether by entering on behalf of a group, club or organisation, or by nominating an individual who goes above and beyond for others.
There are three organisational award categories, highlighting excellence in community project delivery, teamwork and sustainability. In addition, two individual honours—the Young Community Champion (ages 16–25) and the Cirencester Champion (ages 25+)—celebrate those who embody generosity, neighbourliness and dedication, from volunteers to fundraisers and everyday heroes.
How to Enter Application forms are available online, with full details on how to submit your entry. Completed forms must be returned by 4 pm on Friday, 10 April 2026.
