I have had a career in franchising, which included running my own successful international interior design business. This experience has given me infinite knowledge of the business world. I lend these skills to interviewing business personnel with whom I easily identify.
In my career, I have been featured in many magazines, and I have appeared on television and radio shows. I have also published a book and several articles on interior design.
I love working with Cirencester Radio and feel honoured to present a business programme, "The Brains Behind the Business".
So far, over 130 business owners of CEOs have told me their inspiring stories. The range of businesses they represent is very broad. They include Nick Hunt of Cotswold Lakes Brew Beer Company, Anne Evans of 11 Bibury Cafe & Shop, Emma Vowles of Busby & Fox Clothing and Ed Bagnall of Taylor & Fletcher Estate Agents. And hopefully very soon, Jan Sparrow, owner of Ciren Scene Magazine!
What I learn about is their commitment to giving the very best to their enterprises and their regard for their customers' satisfaction.
The inspiration behind "Brains Behind the Business" is to give a face to the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, often not given the accolade they all deserve.
I hope this programme, which I present with Carole Boydell, does just that! Thank you to The Number Crunchers for Sponsoring "The Brains Behind The Business" show.

I'm Malcolm Lewis, and I have been a volunteer presenter for Cirencester Radio since 2020. Growing up in the West Midlands, over 70 years ago, I became very interested in music and remember in 1953 going to see the D'Oyly Carte Opera company for the first time, as well as classical music concerts at Birmingham Town Hall.
Hello, my name is Penny and I host What’s On: Penny’s Picks on Cirencester Radio, which airs every month at 8pm on a Wednesday. The show covers events coming up in around Cirencester with special emphasis on supporting charities and all the hard work they do.
Hi, I’m Duncan Belcher, and I’ve been volunteering with Cirencester Radio since 2020. I present ‘The Power of Music’ every Monday at 6pm. Two shows a month, one a regular show with features like ‘Under the Covers’ and ‘The Story is the Song’, and then a special show with music based on a specific subject. I had the idea for the show after I had volunteered for a wonderful charity called ‘Playlist For Life’.
May I introduce myself. My name is Sheila Lloyd-Graham, and I am originally from Cirencester. I have had three Sporting Careers as a WRAC PTI, teaching in Scotland, London, Hampshire & Berlin. While working with the Americans in West Berlin, Germany, in the seventies and eighties, I used to travel into the British Sector to provide exercises over the Airwaves on British Forces Broadcasting Services, along with Baz Riley. On returning to the UK, I didn’t hesitate when asked to be interviewed on Corinium Radio – now Cirencester Radio.
Corinium Talking News (CTN) and Cirencester Radio are proud to announce a new partnership that will help promote the important work CTN does for the community.
